Charters for Every Kind of Group
Family Boat Charter
Half-day trips work best for families with young kids. We pick a boat with shade, a restroom, and a swim platform. Peanut Island has a guarded beach and a snorkeling lagoon, so it's a favorite family stop. Life jackets are on board for every guest.
Hotel Guest Boat Charter
Staying on the island or in downtown West Palm Beach? Riviera Beach City Marina is a short drive. Book online before you arrive, or call or text once you're in town. We can also work with your concierge.
Vacation Boat Rental
Visiting for a week? Book one day on the water or several. Each trip can be different. A Peanut Island day, a sunset cruise, a dock-and-dine lunch. Every charter is captained, so no boating experience or license is needed.

Why Book Your Group Charter With Us
Big parties have the most to lose from a bad boat day. A boat that's smaller than the listing said. A captain who doesn't show. A fuel fee at the dock that nobody budgeted for. These are the stories people tell about peer-to-peer rental apps.
South Florida Yacht Rental has run charters in Palm Beach since 2001. We own and insure every boat. Every trip has our own USCG-licensed captain. The quote you get is the price you pay, with fuel and captain already included.
Our captains and crew speak English and Spanish. We take all major credit cards, debit cards, ACH, and wire transfer. If we cancel for weather, you get a 28-month credit toward another charter.

Most of our boats and yachts carry 10 to 13 guests. The 26-foot party boat carries 18, and the 55-foot catamaran carries 49. Tell us your headcount and we'll match the boat. Call or text (561) 945-8527.
-
Do you pick up hotel guests in Palm Beach?
Our Palm Beach charters board at Riviera Beach City Marina, a short drive from Palm Beach island and downtown West Palm Beach. We'll send directions when you book. We can also coordinate with your hotel concierge.
-
Do I need a boating license to rent a boat on vacation?
No. Every charter includes a USCG-licensed captain. You don't drive, so no license or experience is needed.
-
Can kids and grandparents come?
Yes. Life jackets are on board for every guest. Boarding is by stairs at the dock, so guests need to manage a few steps. Tell us ages when you book and we'll pick a boat with shade, seating, and a restroom.
-
Can we book more than one day?
Yes. Many vacation guests book two or three trips in one visit. Ask about weekday dates, which cost less.
-
Do you run charters on weekends and holidays?
Yes. We run seven days a week, including holidays, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Holiday weeks book early, so reserve before you travel.
-
What if a storm cancels our vacation charter?
You get a credit toward another charter, good for 28 months. Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, and summer afternoons often bring short storms. Our captains make the call, and morning departures have the best odds of clear weather.
-
Do your captains speak Spanish?
Yes. Our captains and crew speak English and Spanish.
-
Can we bring our dog?
Yes. Dogs and other pets are welcome on board. Tell us when you book.
